A warm welcome from the Instructors and members of Colchester Judo Club to all visitors of this website.
The Internet has allowed Clubs, such as Colchester to make themselves known to a wider audience way beyond our home town and communicate with our fellow Judoka across the globe.
The aims of the Club are simply to share our love of Judo with others, to teach Judo to a high standard, to maintain a well run non-profit making Club for the benefit of our members, and most importantly to have fun whilst doing so.

Colchester Judo Club is located in the historic town of Colchester, Essex.
The Club has maintained a presence in the town for well over 30 years, and is now located at St. Mary's School, 91 Lexden Road, Colchester CO3 3RB.
We train regularly in a recently built activity room on the St. Mary's site, with ample parking facilities and an extensive recently purchased mat area covering an impressive 120 Square Metres, in a striking blue and yellow.
We have Bronze Clubmark and SportSX accreditation and our instructors are CRB checked and regularly attend courses to ensure we are aware of our responsibilities to the well being and safety of our members.
We always welcome visitors to our Dojo.
