COLCHESTER Judo Club are celebrating after receiving a second Club Mark Award.
Three years after gaining Club Mark status, the club has continued thier rise as one of the premier judo clubs in the east of England.
The club, which meets at St Mary's School Lexden Road, have now been awarded another award.
A presentation evening with British Judo staff recognised the hard work members have put in to achieve such a standard.
Senior Club Coach Tony Boyd said: "It is a great achievement for the club which we look forward to building on in the future. Thanks go to
all the players and volunteers who have made it possible."
